Brain Dump

Do you ever get day’s where your brain just has a million and one thoughts going on and you just can’t pin point any one thing? I feel like this should just been a random Brain Dump post.

I feel like there is so much I want to say but I can’t because I can’t focus on anything to pick some thing.

Oh wait a minute I’m starting to pin point a thought……

caffeine:- If you know me you know that I can’t go without my caffeine fix, be it in the form of tea or coffee. To me caffeine is one of life’s simple pleasures. Take a cup of tea for example…..I genuinely think that, if you’re having a bad day or a little bit stressed or just want to sit and relax then a cup of tea will make everything better. For me it help me relax and re-focus on life and just to focus in general.

 Take this bad boy that I made earlier this evening. It has really helped me focus and relax, and even though my brain feels full of “stuff” now it feels so much better than it did earlier.

It’s not often that I can’t focus and end up with my brain swimming in thoughts but when it does, it really does. I think part of it is because we have Lexi for the week and we’ve been planning stuff to do with her and trying to think of other things as well.

It’s frustrating because we did have one particular thing we wanted to do but as the weather is forecast to be absolutely rubbish this week which kinda means that we can’t do it, and of course finding something that a 9 year will enjoy and something that a 14 month old isn’t going to throw tantrums because he bored stiff in his buggy is hard. Hopefully we will be able to find something, and if their both bored then I guess it will just to be tough luck lol.

This has turned into a major Brain Dump post. Maybe wine should’ve been the option for tonight.

Which while I think about it here’s what I need as a Mum to remain sane/human:-

  • caffeine and lots of it
  • Wine
  • And Me time

For me these 3 things are a must…Wine isn’t a regular thing but one those days where I feel like it’s just been one of those day’s then it is a must.

I didn’t include sleep because well let’s face it….I’m a mother, You’re a mother we both know that sleep is no longer an option….I’ll rephrase a full night’s sleep is no longer an option.
