Thinking Slimmer, Week 4&5

So last week I didn’t get a chance to write week 4 post. So this week I am putting weeks 4 and 5 together.

The changes that I was noticing have slowed down and hadn’t really noticed any that were obvious…until yesterday I was sat writing for my Slimpod and I was thinking back over the day and the last couple of weeks and that’s when I realised that there had been a change and for me a big change and it’s been such a natural change that I hadn’t really noticed, the change is that I only eat now when I’m hungry and not just for the sake of eating. Unhealthy snacking has gone. I still have treats but If I want/need a snack rather than craving crisps and chocolate I have a piece of fruit.

I have also lost another lb making it 3 lbs since I started this process. I know that some people see a bigger weight loss but tbh while I do have 3 stone to lose, I don’t want it to drop off quickly, that’s happened to me before and I’ve put the weight back on. So Slow and steady is really the way for me. I may have said it before but this really is about a lifestyle change not just weight loss. I want healthy eating and exercise to be a natural part of my life.

IMG_1663 If you follow my blog you may have already seen this picture but this is the kind of food I’m trying to eat more off. I’ve also taken to having Green Tea which is great considering the last time I had it I didn’t like it. This is thanks to the Thinking Slimmer Slimpod Gold 12 Week Programme.

IMG_1670 This was a post work out selfie I took on Saturday. I had just finished doing the 30 day shred Level 1 work out, and believe me when I say it was hard but I felt so good, I’m still a bit sore in my legs from Saturday.  Despite being naughty and working out with my Make up on you can see how sweaty I got. For me you know you’ve had a good workout when you’re dripping in sweat. I’m of the opinion that if you’re not going to sweat then there is no point in working out. I love getting sweaty from a workout especially if is dripping off me and running down my face.
