Taking A Stroll In The Autumn Sun

The weather has been so nice today that I decided after Logan’s morning nap and snack I would go for a walk with him, Well I walk and he sits in the buggy while I push him. If you read my post on a regular basis you may have read the post I wrote about losing my identity and how it has been effecting me. It’s probably fair to say that I have been a little flat lately and today I decided I would make use of the weather and go out rather than do the housework.

I’m so glad I did. I love Autumn, it’s such a beautiful time of year, the sun still shines and has warmth to it but the air is fresh and crisp. The leaves are slowly starting to change colour and fall to the ground, what’s not to love?

IMG_1174 (1) Just look at the colour of the skin in this photo. I haven’t edited this photo in any way this is straight off my iPhone.

When I go walk a walk with Logan whether it is by myself with him or with Matt as well we quite often walk into our local country park as it is just so beautiful and today was no exception however I did decide to take a different route in to change things up a bit.

IMG_1175 We didn’t take this path we just walked by it but I had to take the photo because I just love all the dappled lighting. Once of the thing’s I love so much about where I love is that I live in the city but I’m right on the country side too. I have the best of both worlds.

One thing I did notice today while out with Logan is that no that he is getting more vocal and interested in what is going on around him is he has started to point out things to me and try to communicate with me at the same time. I can point out something to him and he will respond with his noise’s. It made the walk so enjoyable. Not that it isn’t normally but it was a different enjoyable experience.

IMG_1176 One of the things that made the weather so pleasant was that although the sun was out and it was warm there was also a slightly cool breeze and watching the lake for a minute or two was just magical but the water sparkled so beautifully the picture just does not do it justice.

The walk today really allowed me some time to clear my head and to just relax. With the mornings losing daylight it’s becoming a real struggle to get up in the morning’s to work out, if you have read this weeks Jelly Belly post you’ll know I have been struggling this week.  Taking the walk reminded me how much I love being active, yes I love being lazy but I love being out and I made a promise to myself that I would get me and Logan out more while  the weather isn’t too bad.

One of the things I love about going out for walks this time of yeah is the air feels so much cleaner  than in the summer and makes me feel so sleepy. It allowed me to have a little snooze with Logan on my chest this afternoon and let me tell that is one of my favourite things and will miss them terribly when he get’s too old for them.

What season do Love and why? And how do you like to enjoy it? Get in touch below in the comments or via social media. I will reply to everyone who gets in touch.

As always thanks for reading and until next time.

I hate winter 🙁 Hubby and I get horrible SAD and say every year “we’ll have to book a holiday somewhere sunny next year”. I have to get out of bed every morning for the school run but if I had my choice, we would hibernate from Nov-Feb! #bestandworst

Aw that’s such a shame. It is hard to get up when it’s dark outside but for me there is something about wrapping up warm for a walk and feeling the cold air on your face and the colours of autumn are just beautiful
