Hello and welcome back for Jelly Belly To Yummy Mummy.

So in last week’s post I mentioned that I wanted to improve on how much strength training I did, but after my post on Monday last week that all went to pot, Wednesday morning I decided to get my work out in at 7am leaving both me and the hubby time to get ready afterwards, I started the work out with good intentions but 10 minutes in and I just couldn’t do any more. My body felt exhausted and had no energy so I listened to my body and stopped.

I was really disappointed that I just couldn’t do it and had to stop, I hate having to stop a work out before the end but I knew it was for the best.

However it’s not all doom and gloom. I did manage to 2 hours worth of walking over 2 day’s so it was an hour for each walk. The 1st on was because I’d got my work contracts in which I had signed and needed to post back and the nearest post office was a 30 minute walk. Now I’m sure I could have got the bus to another one but I didn’t want to when there was one so close by. The weather had perked up a bit and I thought the fresh air would do both me and Logan some good. And it did, I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures because I just didn’t think about it.

The second walk we did was on Thursday when I went to get Logan weighed at our Local Clinc that runs in the children’s centre on a Thursday afternoon. We had got the bust there and as the weather had  become really nice ( it was cold for Logan just sitting there but the sun was out) I decided we would take the hours walk home. And I’m really glad I did because it was just so beautiful day and you’ll see why by the following pictures.

So all in all last week wasn’t a total disaster, and you can see that my figures below had stayed the same which to be honest I’m happy with as long as I don’t gain I’m happy.

Last week’s weight:- 11 st 13 lbs

Thighs:- 22 Inches

Hips:- 42 Inches

Waist:- 33 Inches

Arms:- 12 Inches

Current weight:- 11 st 13 lbs

This week will be interesting to see what happens with the figures as today I started my new job and as a result will be doing a lot more walking as I will walk to and from work each day.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that I will also do strength training because how I feel this evening I will just be putting too much pressure on myself and I don’t want to lie to you. I’m not going to do any strength training this week because I am completely shattered this evening and know this will only get worse as the week goes on. Instead I will look at working out properly again next week when I start my normal shift hours.

    I think it’s always a good idea to listen to your body. Some days you can be just too tired, and exerising when tired can lead to injuries. Wishing you well in your new job. 🙂

      Thank you, I agree you have to listen to your body because ultimately it’s your body that knows what is best for it

      Thanks, I know he looks too cute sometimes you’d never guess he can be a complete monster. the weekend was no rest at all flat pack building but had to be done
